Mokosh, Stands 18", Sits 13" The design for Mokosh is based on a Kermode bear, a subspecies of the American black bear, not albino but with white or cream coloured coats. He's made in dense 24mm pale brown mohair tipped with silver and the pile has been textured to look as if it's just come out of water - this has been combined with a dense dark brown alpaca used for his muzzle and inner ears. His nose has been embroidered with black thread. He also has quilted 3D polymer pads on dark brown ultrasuede, a firmly stuffed head and limbs and a body filled with polypellets. We have used 8 joints (2 in the neck and one in each wrist so she can turn his paws as we do our hands). His name, Mokosh, comes from the Slavic meaning "wet" - we also considered calling him Dun Fishing! Limited Edition of 2 |
