18" Love Letter Inspired by a famous oil painting of the same name, this wonderful teddy bear has been created with the innocence of a first crush and it is presented in old world charm. This "child" is created in 2 different qualities of mohair. It uses the longest mohair available today enabling the fashioning of the delicate lovelocks and curls on the head which adds to her human-like appearance. She's fully jointed with flexible arms in order to pose. Dressed in ivory colored silk taffeta complete with slip and pantaloons. She cradles a bouquet of roses, a symbolic flower of love in her arm. Attached to her other paw is the object of her title, a "Love Letter" in Victorian fancy is inside of functioning envelope. To remove the message, one simply untwist the cord around the glass heart and the envelope flap is free. The stand is covered in satin with Victorian type trim. Surely, she's one bear for your beloved. Austrian crystal eyes, hand sculpted suede nose, ultra suede paw pads, stuffed with polyfill and is fully jointed. Limited Edition of 3 |
