15 1/2" Maia (left) & 5 1/2 "Paavali (right) Maia (means mother). Made of 20mm brown alpaca and contrasting mohair for her nose and inner ears - features subtle air brushed shading. Paws are slim - the 3D pads on brown ultrasuede needle sculpted for further definition and shaded with the airbrush. She has a joint in each wrist and small magnets in each front paw so that she can link with her cub, Paavali. She has a further 6 joints, 2 being used for a double neck joint. Head and limbs are firmly stuffed with polyester and her body loosely filled with recycled polypellets. This flexibility combined with the double neck joint means that Maia can be placed in a huge variety of positions. Paavali (means small). Made from 10mm brown alpaca with contrasting cashmere used for the nose, inner ears and paws; the paws have been printed with a pad design and there is a small magnet in each front paw so that they are either attracted to each other or his mother's paws. He has 5 joints, his head and limbs are filled with polyester and his body is loosely filled with polypellets and his cub like body is completed with a little tail.
